"VAN" (International Desk - 27.10.2024) :: Interior Minister. Maj. Gen. Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun met Saturday, with Lebanese Minister for the Displaced in the Lebanese caretaker government Issam Sharaf El-Din , at the Interior Ministry building in Damascus. The meeting dealt with the return of displaced Syrians and the facilities provided to Lebanese brothers coming to Syria, as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. Major General al-Rahmoun stressed that the Syrian state has provided all necessary facilities to secure the return of displaced Syrians and Lebanese brothers coming to Syria, and has also provided facilities to all those coming through the border centers. “We have allowed entry under any document proving their citizenship and processing their situations within the centers, as well as allowing Lebanese brothers to enter with any travel document issued by the Lebanese authorities”, Minister Rahmoun said. In turn, Minister Sharaf El-Din pointed out that the visit is a continuation of previous visits and developments, stressing his thanks to the Syrian state for providing all facilities for the return of displaced Syrians and Lebanese coming to Syria.
