DDC Ganderbal reviews Functioning of RDD

“VAN” (Dar Rafi – Ganderbal, Srinagar) :: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, today chaired a meeting of Rural Development Department to review its functioning and progress made under the flagship programmes including PMAY, MGNREGA, 14th FC and utilization of SBM funds.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ganderbal, District Panchayat Officer, Block Development Officers besides BDC chairpersons.

The DDC sought the details regarding utilization of SBM funds, GEO tagging of Baseline survey, LOB and NLOB, FTO generation under MGNREGA and 14TH FC, uploading of MGREGA plan, PMAY and 15th FC plan on e-Gramshwaraj portal, completion of Panchayat Ghars, GEO tagging of 14th FC works and completion of CSCs.

On the occasion the DDC was briefed by the ACD regarding functioning of the department besides physical and financial achievements under different schemes including PMA, SBM, MGNREGA, 14FC and progress on uploading of MGNREGA plan and 15th FC plan on e-Gramswaraj portal.

The meeting also reviewed the achievement of targets fixed in last RDD meeting.

While reviewing the progress on completion of Panchayat Ghars and CSCs in the district the ACD informed the meeting that several works are completed besides work on various Panchayat Ghars is under various stages of completion.

The DDC reviewed Block and Panchayat-wise performance made under various schemes and set the timelines for completion of all pending works and warned them against any laxity and asked to work with pro-active and people friendly approach.

While reviewing MGNREGA, the DDC laid emphasis on timely completion of works and billing process for the works already executed by the agencies besides uploading of MGNREGA Plan and PMAY on e-Gramswaraj Portal.

During the meeting, the DDC further impressed upon BDOs and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting innovative methods for effective implementation of schemes and involve people in the developmental process.
