2025 U.S. Women’s National Team Named

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 29.01.2025) :: Following the recent tour, U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach David Passmore and his staff have named the 2025 U.S. Women’s National Team. This newly named 37-athlete squad features a depth of experience including 13 returning Olympians with the addition of six names.

“The start of an Olympic Games cycle is always an exciting time, and this group brings lots of young talent to add to a group of experienced athletes, many of whom now have games under their belt,” commented Passmore. “We will review the squad regularly moving forward to keep pressure on all to continue to develop and improve individually which will increase the team standards. The next trial is in April where another twelve athletes will also be assessed.”

Olympians Ashley Hoffman (128)(Mohnton, Pa.) and Amanda Golini (159)(Randolph, Pa.) continue to lead the squad with the most international experience and caps. They are paired with the return of field players Sanne Caarls (53)(Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands), Leah Crouse (53)(Virginia Beach, Va.) Ally Hammel (75)(Duxbury, Mass.), Ashley Sessa (55)(Schwenksville, Pa.), Meredith Sholder (56)(Fleetwood, Pa.), Cassie Sumfest (51)(Lewisburg, Pa.), Jillian Wolgemuth (65)(Mount Joy, Pa.), Beth Yeager (60)(Greenwich, Conn.) and Maddie Zimmer (59)(Hershey, Pa.), all who have more than 50 caps to their name. The six newcomers are Lucy Adams (Andover, Mass.), Jans Croon (Manhattan Beach, Calif.), Reese D’Ariano (West Chester, Pa.), Daniela Mendez-Trendler (Reistertown, Md.), Mia Schoenbeck (LaGrange, Ky.) and Makenna Webster (St. Louis, Mo.).

Goalkeepers are Kelsey Bing (91)(Houston, Texas), Kealsie Reeb (37)(Seaford, Va.), Jenny Rizzo (22)(Hershey, Pa.) and Annabel Skubisz (1)(Houston, Texas).
