New starting for youths by "Rowsellas" for their fitness and bright future

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 11.04.2025) :: We all know rowing is one of the best all-round exercises. It's a low impact, total body workout that burns more calories than cycling, builds strength like weight training and is easier on the joints than running.

Now Rowing Australia is launching Row Club to bring those benefits to gyms, clubs and everyday fitness enthusiasts. It's a community-driven fitness program, inspired by the training methods of elite and Olympic rowers and powered by the Row Nation app, which provides digital tracking technology and structured training programs.

Row Club is taking off nationwide in more than 12 locations, making rowing more accessible than ever, with structured instructor-led rowing classes aimed at making rowing as mainstream as spin or HIIT workouts.

The official launch will be in at UTS Rowing Club in Sydney on Sunday, April 13, with Rowsellas and Paris 2024 Olympians Paddy Holt and Paige Barr on hand to run sessions and put participants through their paces.
