A two-time world blitz chess champion (2021, 2022), Bibisara Assaubayeva from Kazakhstan emerged victorious in the ninth online Swiss Queens Wednesday tournament. Bibisara scored 10.5 points out of 11 possible, surpassing her nearest competitors by a full 2 points. The series of online tournaments Swiss Queens Wednesday is held as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of FIDE. It features the world's strongest female chess players holding FIDE titles. The prize fund for each tournament is $1000 USD.
