"VAN" (Sports Desk - 21.06.2025) :: The fourth edition of the FIH Diversity and Inclusion Day will take place on 21-22 June, at a time where many international matches are being played all around the world, therefore giving this day of togetherness and respect a maximum attention. Indeed, ahead of several matches at the FIH Hockey Pro League, FIH Hockey Men’s Nations Cup and FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup 2, players will read the following message in the stadium and as part of the global broadcast programme: Today is FIH Diversity and Inclusion Day. No matter your gender … No matter your ethnic background … No matter your physical or intellectual abilities … No matter your sexual orientation … No matter your age … … EVERYONE is welcome in hockey! Diversity is wealth. Inclusion must be the norm. WE ARE ALL #MadeForHockey! Commenting on FIH Diversity and Inclusion Day, FIH President Tayyab Ikram said: “Hockey is open to everyone. Hockey is more than a sport. Hockey is a global community with strong values of inclusiveness, education and respect. As we are celebrating this year’s FIH Diversity and Inclusion Day, I urge the global hockey community to fully promote our initiative. We are all #MadeForHockey!”.
