The men’s 800m was pure 🔥 with Emmanuel Wanyonyi edging the field in a nail-biter. In the 1500m, Niels Laros stormed to victory in the men’s race, while Nelly Chepchirchir (3:56.99) chased down Jessica Hull (3:57.02) in a dramatic finish decided by just 0.03. The closing stages in the men's 3000m were also chaos.
In the sprints, Julien Alfred hit top speed to take the women's 100m 💨, while the showdown between Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo electrified the crowd ⚡ — Noah taking it in the final strides. On the field, Julian Weber threw a world lead in the javelin, and local hero Simon Ehammer stunned Zurich with an 8.33m leap in the long jump. To top it off, Nicola Olyslagers soared to 2.04m, a 🇦🇺 record in the high jump.
