"VAN" (Hemant Kumar Sharma - Aichi-Nagoya, Japan - 30.09.2026) :: Loveleena Borgohain beat Kazakhstan's boxer Natalya Bogdanova in a tight fight of semifinal match at Asian Games 2026. In the category of 75kg semifinal bought, Kazak boxer was leading in first round but after the completion of 2nd round of the game Loveleena came back and complete her journey for the finals. She will contest in the final on 2nd October 2026 for the Gold Medal. Olympic and Commonwealth champion, Indian boxer fought well against Natalia of Kazhakistan a favourite. In round one Lovlina was behind but in second bought she fought very well and in third round it was a very close but her luck favoured and she won the bout 3:2. She said to VAN International News Agency that Silver medal is assured but I will giver my best in Final and win Gold for my country. She added Japan is Lucky for me. She already won Tokyo Olympic Bronze Medal and her eyes are on Gold now.
