LIMA 2007 unveils it's official logo

~ On the second day of the LXIII Panam Sports Assembly in Asuncion, Paraguay, the Lima 2027 Organizing Committee unveiled the official logo for the XX Pan American Games in history. With a design that highlights its identity, the road to Los Angeles 2028, and the most important symbol of Peruvians, Machu Picchu, the Lima27 brand is now displayed to the world.

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 09.08.2025) :: The second day of the LXIII Panam Sports General Assembly featured presentations by several Panam Sports commissions: Athletes, Safe Sport, Education and Olympic Academies, Sustainability, and Safe Sport.

It was also an opportunity for the candidate cities for the 2031 Pan American Games to present their credentials ahead of the election, to be held on October 10 in Santiago, Chile.

The Organizing Committee for the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima also had its moment at this Assembly. Its president, Federico Tong, and the head of the Peruvian Olympic Committee, Renzo Manyari, presented all the progress and projects for the coming months, with an investment of more than 750 million dollars. In addition, the logo and official brand of the Games were unveiled.

"A brand inspired by the dynamism of Peru. It reflects a country that thrives on its diversity, its mix of races and traditions. It is the shared heartbeat of a region that seeks to recognize, celebrate, and project itself to the world. Here, every athlete, citizen, visitor, and cultural expression is part of a network that connects emotions, dreams, and collective narratives," said Federico Tong, president of the Lima 2027 Organizing Committee.

"In that vibe, Lima27 builds a link across the Pacific, a bridge between cities, generations, and dreams. It is the bridge between the continental dream and global recognition. From Lima, the paths lead to Los Angeles 2028," said Renzo Manyari, president of the Peruvian Olympic Committee.

“Our torch is a Peruvian symbol for the world, it is the flame that comes from Machu Picchu and the entire shape of Huayna Picchu,” added Manyari.

"The Panam Sports Executive Board approved yesterday the Lima 2027 logo and official brand. We believe that it fully embodies the identity, passion, and idiosyncrasies of all of Peru, as well as the unity of the Americas", said Neven Ilic, Panam Sports President.

The Pan American Games in Lima will take place from July 16 to August 1, 2027, in the Peruvian capital and will feature the participation of 7,000 athletes.
