IOC unveils “Ti Amo” film on one month to go: inviting everyone to fall in love with the Olympic Winter Games, Italian style

- With just one month to go before the next chapter of Olympic Winter Games history is written on Italy’s snow and ice, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled “Ti Amo”, a short film inviting the world to fall in love with Milano Cortina 2026 beginning on 6 February.

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 07.01.2025) :: Set to the classic song “Ti Amo” [I Love You], the film captures the powerful emotions that sport awakens – desire, devotion, anticipation, wrapped in the unmistakable passion, warmth and humour of the Italian spirit to give a glimpse of the Olympic Winter Games, Italian style. The film also features a special appearance by winter superstar Eileen Gu, double Olympic champion, freestyle skiing, Beijing 2022.

“Soon, the best winter athletes from all across the world will gather in Italy to live out their Olympic dreams at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Italy's passion for sport, its iconic landscapes, culture, fashion and food will deliver an incredible backdrop for them to show off their talents. The athletes performances and Milano Cortina's new Italian spirit will connect people through inspiring and emotional sporting moments, infused with Italy's passion and famous hospitality, which will cause people to fall in love with Italy and winter sport all over again,” says IOC President Kirsty Coventry.

The XXV Olympic Winter Games will take place from 6 to 22 February 2026, marking a celebrated return to Italy after 20 years. Milano Cortina 2026 will showcase 16 adrenaline-filled Olympic disciplines held across spectacular settings: from the natural beauty and grandeur of the Italian Alps to the cosmopolitan energy of Milan – setting the stage for an unforgettable and magical Winter Olympics.

Fans can experience the unbelievable sporting spectacle, and distinctive beauty, warmth and hospitality of Milano Cortina 2026 with tickets and hospitality and follow every moment worldwide through official Olympic broadcasters.

“Ti Amo” has been specially created to air across the worldwide Olympic broadcasters, as well as Olympic digital platforms and the Olympic family from 6 January. It is part of the IOC’s global campaign celebrating the unique spirit of the Olympic Winter Games in Italy, starting with Olympic Rings Pasta – a joyful symbol inspiring people to come together for Milano Cortina 2026 – and continuing through the Olympic Winter Games with content and activations.
