Glasgow business go All In ahead of Glasgow 2026

~ Businesses across Glasgow are stepping up to show the world what it means to go All In ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 27.05.2026) :: Five businesses from across the city have joined forces to go All In, celebrating the creativity and personality of Glasgow’s business community ahead of the Games.

Featured participants include Mharsanta, Glickman’s, The Social Hub, Glasgow Science Centre and The Duke’s Umbrella, each bringing All In to life in their own unique way through themed food and drink, community activity, customer experiences and venue dressing.

Led by Glasgow’s business community in partnership with Glasgow 2026, All In is a city-wide movement encouraging businesses and communities to help create a memorable welcome for athletes, visitors and residents during the Games.

From Games-inspired cocktails and themed sweets to interactive family trails and community events, the campaign celebrates the simple, creative ideas helping businesses play their part in the city-wide celebration. Ultimately, the campaign shows how small touches can help create a big Glasgow atmosphere during the Games.

Chris Ansell, Glasgow 2026 Head of Public Engagement, said: “The All In campaign gives businesses the confidence to get involved in the Games in a way that is authentic, creative and community focused. There are a variety of ways to join in, whether that’s creating memorable Glasgow 2026 customer experiences, supporting local sports groups or helping us deliver the friendly welcome the city is known for.

All In shines the Games spotlight on what Glasgow businesses already do brilliantly, at the same time as maximising the opportunities for the city from hosting the Games.”

Julie Birkett, Co-owner of Glickman’s, said: “We’ve been part of Glasgow’s story for generations, so we couldn’t miss putting our own sweet spin on the Games. It’s not about big budgets, just imagination, passion and a touch of Glasgow nostalgia. We are All In."

Gillian Lang, Director of Experience Development at the Glasgow Science Centre, said: “We believe in the power of play and discovery. We’re bringing the spirit of the Games to life, hands on, interactive and full of excitement for the next generation. We are All In."

The campaign will be shared across partner, business and participating venue channels in the lead up to Glasgow 2026, helping encourage more organisations to sign up and get involved. Businesses and residents are encouraged to share the content online, celebrate the businesses going All In from July 1 and help spread the message across the city.
