"VAN" (Sports Desk - 11.12.2025) :: Germany won the thrilling FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamilnadu 2025! While, Spain and India secured the silver and bronze medals respectively, and to Bangladesh won the Challenger Trophy!
As the tournament concludes, how wonderful it was to witness such diversity on the field of play and in the stands, with the increase in the number of participating teams to 24. Seeing players sing their country’s national anthems for the first time at a global event, often in front of their parents in the stadium, was particularly moving.
There was a big role of the State of Tamil Nadu, the cities of Chennai and Madurai, the Local Organising Committee, Hockey India, all the volunteers, and everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event for our #RisingStars!
