Street dogs strike Ganderbal village, kill 10 sheeps

"VAN" (Dar Rafi - Ganderbal, Srinagar - 14.01.2022) :: In an unfortunate incident, a group of stray dogs on Wednesday evening strike Ganderbal village in central Kashmir and killed atleast 10 sheeps and injured as many as.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said on Wednesday evening, around thirty sheeps belonged to Ab Gani Bhat son of Wahab Bhat of Watlar Ganderbal was attached by group of stray dogs in which around 10 were killed on spot while rest were injured.

Reports added the injured sheeps are being treated nearby vetanary.

This is second such incident reported in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district, earlier this month same kind of incident reported in Gund village in which also ten sheeps were killed by stray dogs.

Meanwhile, locals appealed to the concern authority as well as local admin to look into the issues at earliest so that people will feel secure in the district.
