4 CRPF men injured in Granade blast at T-Chowk Ganderbal, nearby areas cordoned off

"VAN" (Dar Rafi - Ganderbal, Srinagar) :: A hand grenade was hurled at a CRPF bunker situated at T-Chowk Duderhama in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district this evening.

The grenade exploded when the CRPF personnel were loading some articles in their gypsey, leaving 4 men in a pool of blood.

The injured men belonging to the G-Coy of 115 Bn CRPF, identified as:-

1. ASI Nitbal Singh
2. Ct Anand Mal
3. Manoj sipahi

4. HC RN Manojan, were shifted to hospital for medical treatment where one is said be critical.

The police and men from other security forces immediately rushed to the spot to access the situation. Nearby areas were cordoned off to check any suspected movement.

Meanwhile panic gripped T-Chowk and nearby markets and traffic movement also suspended.

Pertinently, the grenade explosion took place at this point after 25 years
