Massoud Killed Day : 138 arrested in Kabul over aerial firing

"VAN" (Hemant Kumar Sharma ~ Kabul, Afghanistan) :: Ministry Officials of Afghanistan have confirmed that the security forces arrested 138 people in connection to aerial firing during Massoud Day which killed or wounded at least 9 people.

Interior Ministry Spokesperson Nasrat Rahimi told that security forces of the National Police and Kabul Garrison Command arrested the individuals from different parts of the city.

Rahimi further added that the security forces also confiscated dozens of weapons and 51 vehicles during the operations.

Furthermore, Rahimi said the individuals had resorted to aerial firing during the Massoud Day parades which killed two people including a soldier of the Kabul Garrison Command and a civilian.

He also added that the aerial firings also wounded at least 7 others in Kabul city.
