Afghanistan to see expansion of international relations - Taliban

"VAN" (Afghanistan Bureau - 14.09.2021) :: Acting minister of foreign affairs of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Amir Khan Motaqi said that Afghanistan will see an expansion of international engagement with the world.

Prior to that, the deputy minister of information and culture and spokesperson of the Taliban Zabiullah Mujahid had said that the world will recognize them soon.

Ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan talks about the expansion of their international ties after the foreign minister and deputy Prime Minister of Qatar visited Kabul on Sunday evening, September 12.

Amir Motaqi said that Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani commended the ongoing security and order established by the Taliban and pledged to continue humanitarian aids to the people of Afghanistan.

As per Motaqi, Premier of Afghanistan Mullah Muhammad Hassad Akhund in his meeting with Al-Thani said that the Doha agreement is an achievement and added that its implementation is of most importance.

Al-Thani’s visit to Kabul was the first visit of any high-ranking officials to Kabul since the announcement of the caretaker cabinet of the Taliban.
