"VAN" (International Desk - 17.05.2022) :: On International Nurses’ Day, Isabelle Moussard tweeted that the Taliban’s restrictions on girls in Afghanistan hinder us from having the strength to advance society tomorrow. She made a point of saying that “students of today are the doctors, midwives, teachers, and engineers of tomorrow.” She tweeted, “access to secondary & tertiary education for girls and women is both a human rights issue and a concrete necessity for the future of all Afghans.” Girls, on the other hand, have been barred from attending school for the past nine months since the Taliban took power.
