Two female government employees ‘Shot Dead’ in Kabul

"VAN" (Afghanistan Bureau) :: Two female government employees were shot dead in a vehicle by unidentified armed men in the Qala-e-Fatullah area of Kabul City on Sunday Morning.

Both women were shot and killed on spot, two other employees were reported wounded.

The unknown gunmen were reportedly on a Bicycle when they opened fire on a Corolla type vehicle that carried government workers.

Witnesses told the media, that both female employees were killed and two people are injured in the incident.

Kabul police also confirmed the incident but denied to provide further information about the victims’ identities.

Meanwhile, initial investigations by the security sources indicate, that both female victims were government employees, one identified as a Judge, and the other worked for the Ministry of Education, Tolonews Reported.

Most media outlets reported that both of the female victims worked as Judges in the judicial system (Supreme Court) of the country.

So far, no group has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
