"VAN" (International Desk - 21.01.2023) :: Cuba called on the Israeli occupation authorities to fully and unconditionally withdraw from the Syrian Arab Golan and from all occupied Arab lands. “Cuba calls on the Israeli occupation to fully and unconditionally withdraw from the Syrian Arab Golan and from all occupied Arab lands”, Cuba’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Pedro Luis Pedroso Cuesta, said in a speech during an open debate by the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East. At the same time, Pedroso called for an immediate and unconditional end to the arbitrary and illegal coercive measures imposed by the United States against sovereign states in the Middle East. Pedroso Cuesta also called on the international community to end the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine. Cuba affirmed its support for the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate rights. SANA
